Week 9 · This Week
“The Work Is Great — Stay Focused”
Scripture for the Week
“I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down.”
— Nehemiah 6:3 KJV
Dear LMF Summit Team,
We are only 25 days away from the 2026 Love Me First Women’s Summit in Champaign, Illinois!
We have prayed, planned, created, adjusted, sacrificed, and continued moving forward. Now we have entered a critical stage of preparation — a time to close loose ends, confirm commitments, and focus our energy on what must be completed.
Ladies, we are doing a great work.
This is more than a conference. This is a God-given assignment to create a space where women can heal, rediscover their God-given identity, experience genuine sisterhood, walk boldly in purpose, and begin building a generational legacy.
Because the work is great, we must remain focused.
It Is Time for Clarity and Completion
At this stage, uncertainty can affect the entire team. One unanswered question, unconfirmed role, or unfinished assignment can prevent someone else from completing her work.
That is why this week is about clear communication and follow-through.
If you are participating, confirm your commitment.
If information has been requested, please submit it.
If you are unable to fulfill your role, communicate that honestly and graciously so we have time to make another arrangement.
If you need help, speak up before the deadline passes.
All outstanding participation confirmations, speaker information, and essential loose ends should be addressed by Wednesday, September 16.
This is not about pressure or condemnation. It is about giving the vision, the team, and the women we are serving the respect of an honest answer.
Every Role Strengthens the Whole
Every team member is valuable, and every role is connected to something greater.
The person confirming attendance helps us prepare accommodations accurately.
The speaker submitting her information helps us create a complete and balanced program.
The volunteer attending training helps us provide a welcoming and organized experience.
The team member completing an assignment gives someone else what she needs to move forward.
The person who communicates that she cannot participate gives us the opportunity to find another willing servant.
Whether your role is large or small, public or private, your clarity and commitment matter.
A Word From My Heart
Ladies, I am excited! We are almost at the finish line, and I genuinely believe the women in the room will be blessed.
I do not take this assignment lightly. This journey has been healing for me with every step, and I believe God has used the entire process to prepare us — not only for an event, but for impact.
However, we cannot allow distraction, delay, fear, or uncertainty to take our attention away from what God has placed before us.
Let us finish what is in our hands.
Let us respond when communication is needed.
Let us extend grace while remaining accountable.
Let us help one another close the gaps.
And let us remember why we started.
We are preparing the room for women we haven’t even met yet.
There is a woman who needs the healing, encouragement, connection, and truth that will meet her in that room. Our preparation is part of her experience.
Our Spiritual Focus This Week
Begin each day by praying:
“Lord, help me recognize what requires my attention. Give me focus to finish, courage to communicate, and grace to serve my team well.”
Then review your Summit responsibilities and take these three steps:
Confirm your participation and role.
Submit any outstanding information by Wednesday, September 16.
Complete or clearly communicate the status of your most important assignment.
This Week's Declaration
Say this out loud:
I am doing a great work, and I will remain focused.
I will communicate clearly, honor my commitments, and complete what is in my hands.
I reject distraction, procrastination, confusion, and fear.
I will extend grace while walking in accountability.
My role is valuable, my voice matters, and my participation strengthens the vision.
I will support my sisters as we close the gaps and move toward the finish line.
I believe women will heal, rediscover their God-given identity, experience sisterhood, walk in purpose, and build generational legacy.
We are preparing the room for women we haven’t even met yet.
I will stay focused because this work is great.
Thank you to every woman who has prayed, served, planned, promoted, encouraged, and sacrificed to help us reach this point. We are close, but we are not finished.
Let’s lock in, close the loose ends, and push toward the finish line together.
With love, purpose & expectation,
