“You Are Part of the Vision”
Scripture for the Week
“Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.”
— Habakkuk 2:2
Dear LMF Summit Team,
As we continue preparing for the 2026 Love Me First Women's Summit, I want to pause for a moment and remind you of something very important:
You are valuable to this vision.
This summit is so much more than an event on a calendar. We are creating a space where women can breathe again, heal again, dream again, and rediscover the woman God created them to be.
Some woman will walk through those doors carrying something she hasn't told anyone. Another will arrive questioning her worth. Another may be trying to break a cycle that has existed in her family for generations. And God is allowing us to prepare the room for her.
Every phone call matters.
Every meeting matters.
Every idea matters.
Every prayer matters.
Every volunteer matters.
Every detail matters.
Whether you are standing on the stage, welcoming someone at the door, preparing a registration bag, helping behind the scenes, praying, decorating, organizing, or simply saying, “What do you need me to do?”—you are helping carry this vision.
Our Purpose
LMF exists to remind women that they can love God, love themselves the way God sees them, and live from a place of wholeness rather than brokenness.
At this summit, we are building:
Healing — confronting what has been broken.
Identity — helping women see themselves through God's eyes.
Sisterhood — creating genuine community where women do not have to walk alone.
Purpose — encouraging women to birth the vision, ministry, business, dream, or next chapter God placed inside them.
Generational Legacy — understanding that when one woman heals, her healing can change an entire family.
That is why what we are building matters.
A Word From My Heart
Ladies, we are still building. We are learning. We are adjusting. And sometimes we will have to change something we thought was already settled.
Give the vision grace. Give one another grace. And please give me grace as your Founder as I continue carrying what God has placed in my heart and learning how to make it plain enough for others to run with it.
We are creating a blueprint that I believe LMF will carry into other cities and states for years to come. You are not just helping with the 2026 Summit—you are helping us build the foundation for what comes next.
This Week's Declaration
Say this out loud:
“I am valuable to the vision.
My gifts have purpose.
My presence matters.
I will serve with grace, excellence, and love.
I will not allow fear, frustration, or distractions to move me out of position.
God has placed me here for a reason.
We are building something bigger than ourselves, and I am honored to be part of it.”
Ladies, thank you.
Thank you for your time. Thank you for your patience. Thank you for your prayers.
We are preparing the room for women we haven't even met yet. Let's keep building.
With love, purpose & expectation,
LaShawn Allen-Talbert
