Dear LMF Summit Team,
Ladies, this week I want us to shift our attention from everything we are doing to remembering who we are doing it for.
Somewhere right now, there is a woman who has no idea what God has waiting for her at the LMF Summit.
She may register because a friend invited her.
She may come because she saw a post on social media.
She may arrive smiling while silently carrying pain.
She may be exhausted from being everything to everybody.
She may have spent years pouring into her children, marriage, career, church, family, and community while completely forgetting herself.
That is the woman we are preparing for.
This Is Why We Prepare
When she walks through those doors October 9–11, I don’t just want her to attend an event. I want her to experience LMF.
I want her to feel seen.
I want her to feel safe.
I want her to laugh.
I want her to worship.
I want her to meet women who remind her that she doesn’t have to do life alone.
I want something that has been broken for generations to begin healing in that room.
And I want her to leave knowing:
I am loved.
I am worthy.
I am enough.
I have purpose.
And my story is not over.
Your Assignment Is Bigger Than Your Task
Team, please hear my heart:
You may think you’re preparing a registration table — but you’re preparing her first impression.
You may think you’re decorating a room — but you’re creating an atmosphere.
You may think you’re stuffing a welcome bag — but you’re preparing a gift for a woman who may rarely receive anything just for herself.
You may think you’re checking a spreadsheet — but you’re helping make sure someone’s experience is excellent.
You may think you’re simply volunteering — but you are serving a woman God already knows is coming.
That’s why your role matters.
A Word From My Heart
When preparation becomes tiring, remember her.
When we’re making adjustments, remember her.
When the meetings feel like one more thing on an already busy schedule, remember her.
When you wonder whether what you’re doing really matters — remember her.
Because long before she walks through those doors, we have an opportunity to pray for her, prepare for her, and create a space where her life can be changed.
This Week's Declaration
Say this out loud:
“I am preparing the room.
I will serve with love.
I will prepare with excellence.
I will pray for women I have not met yet.
I believe lives will be changed, families will be strengthened, and generational cycles will be broken.
What I do matters because the woman we are preparing for matters.”
Ladies, let’s continue building.
October is coming. And the women are coming.
Let’s prepare the room. 💜
